Why It’s Useful

Keyword clustering allows you to group similar keywords together. This can help you understand the different themes and topics your audience is interested in. By clustering keywords, you can:

  • Identify content gaps and opportunities.
  • Optimize your content for better search engine rankings.
  • Improve your overall SEO strategy by focusing on keyword groups rather than individual keywords.

How to Use the Tool

Step 1: Upload Your CSV File

First, you’ll need to upload a CSV file containing your keywords. Your CSV file should have at least one column labeled “Keywords”. Optionally, you can include columns for Search Volume, CPC, Ranked Position, and URL. If you don’t have a CSV file ready, you can download a template directly from the tool.

Step 2: Adjust the Number of Clusters

Once your file is uploaded, use the slider to select the number of clusters you want. The higher the number of clusters, the more specific your keyword groups will be. However, setting too high a number can make categorization less meaningful due to over-segmentation.

Step 3: Classify and Cluster Keywords

Click the “Classify and Cluster Keywords” button. The tool will preprocess your keywords, vectorize them using TF-IDF, and then perform clustering using the K-Means algorithm. It will also generate representative names for each cluster based on the most common and relevant words in that cluster.

Step 4: Download the Results

After the clustering process is complete, you can download the clustered keywords as a CSV file. This file will contain your original keywords along with their respective clusters and cluster names. You can also view the results directly in the tool.

What It Outputs

The output CSV file will include the following columns:

  • Keywords: Your original keywords.
  • Search Volume: The search volume for each keyword, if provided.
  • CPC: The cost per click for each keyword, if provided.
  • Ranked Position: The ranked position for each keyword, if provided.
  • URL: The associated URL for each keyword, if provided.
  • Cluster: The cluster number assigned to each keyword.
  • Cluster Name: The generated name for each cluster, based on the most representative words.
